In our first employee spotlight of the year, we're proud to introduce Alfredo Serrano. Alfredo is one of our most dedicated team members working out of the Pasco branch. He's an experienced, customer-focused mechanic with a tireless thirst for self-improvement. How Long Have You Worked at Mid Columbia Forklift?
I have been a Mid Columbia Forklift road technician since February 1, 2011.
How Many Years Do You Have of Technical Experience?
I have about 25 years of technical experience.
How Did You Get Started as a Forklift Technician?
I started as a forklift technician due to my love of being a mechanic. I love helping others and helping the company solve problems.
What Do You Like About Your Job? Any Fun Facts?
A few of the many things that I love about my job are being able to help others, the opportunity to create long-lasting friendships with the people that I work with, and establishing relationships with all the different companies that I get to work for.
How Is Mid Columbia Forklift Different From Other Places You’ve Worked?
At Mid Columbia Forklift, I like that there are plenty of opportunities to grow and become successful. It is also a very comfortable and stress-free atmosphere.
Tell Us About a Professional Achievement You Feel Especially Proud Of.
I feel especially proud of all the things that I've learned while working at Mid Columbia Forklift and the number of times I have been recognized for the quality of my work as well as my skill.
What Do You Do with Your Free Time?
In my free time, I like to study new things that will help me out in different aspects of life, reading, and helping around the house. I’m also a Pastor at my church, so I spend a lot of free time visiting families in Pasco.
What Is Your Favorite Local Sports Team, Local Bar, or Restaurant?
I love trying different cuisines and learning from different cultures, so I would have to say that I love all types of restaurants.
Anything Else You’d Like People To Know About You?
I would like people to know that I enjoy helping others to become successful.
