Madvac Sweepers and Litter Vacuums Keep Washington Clean and GreenDo you have a parking lot, walkway, sidewalk or street you’d like to keep clean? As you're no doubt aware, manual litter collection is labor-intensive — and may put team members in contact with hazardous waste.

There's a quicker, safer, cost-effective alternative to manual litter pick up: Madvacs. Their litter vacuums and compact street sweepers are trusted by:

  • The cities of Bremerton, Federal Way and Yakima
  • Grant, Lewis and Okanogan Counties
  • Sound Transit/King County Rail
  • WADOT
  • and many private companies

Here are the three most popular Madvacs in Washington state:

Madvac LN50 All-Terrain Litter Vacuum

This ride-on litter vacuum quickly and safely cleans city sidewalks, parks, curbs, parking lots and more. One operator can do the work of 6-7 people — no CDL required. The 48” vacuum head sucks up trash and debris, while the 15” wander hose allows the operator to reach confined or hard-to-reach areas. Madvac LN50 and LR50 are available in electric and diesel.

The LN50 is designed to operate on uneven surfaces, such as grass. But it also comes with a fully street-legal lighting package, allowing you to run the machine in places like:

  • Parks
  • Sidewalks
  • Parking lots
  • Protected lanes

If you're looking for an all-terrain litter vacuum with an enclosed cabin, look no further than the Madvac LR50. It's similar to the LN50 but has a front windshield with vinyl doors and climate control options. Electric and diesel models available.

Madvac LP61-G Portable Litter Vacuum

The LPG1-G is the most popular Madvac we sell. It collects litter five times faster than manual picking, is simple to use, and is extremely effective.

This compact litter vacuum can be mounted in a trailer or transported in a truck bed. The 25-50 foot hose* makes it easy for the operator to clean up hard-to-reach areas such as transfer station fence lines and ditches.

* 25-foot hose standard, optional 15' or 25' hose extensions available

Madvac LS175 Mini Street Sweeper

Unlike large commercial street sweepers, you don’t need a CDL to operate this small (but powerful) street sweeper. The 48” wide cleaning path is perfect for sidewalks, curbs, parking lots, alleys, bike and pedestrian lanes. Best of all, it has an average 10-12 year lifespan.

  • Clean hard-to-reach areas — with a 4” x 15-foot “wander hose”
  • Power wash — 2 gpm @ 1800 psi (optional add-on)
  • Whisk away dry, humid or wet litter — with 2500 CFM vacuum power
  • Street-legal lighting package comes standard

Here’s a short video clip showing how the LS175 effectively removes leaves, litter and decent-sized debris.

This mini road sweeper is packed with convenient features, including a 1.75 cu yard container capacity, 67” dumping height and a closed cabin with climate control.
